He started his career with MNCs, when he became a CA in 2002.  He  started his Astrological learning with BVB (Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan) - New Delhi in 2007.  After moving to Chennai in 2010, he joined ICAS (Indian Council of Astrological Sciences) - Chennai chapter and after moving to Jaipur in 2012, he continued his  Astrological learning with ICAS Jaipur chapter.

It was in 2019 when he first met Pandit Sanjay Rath (Guruji), who accepted him to be a part of the 500-year-old lineage of Śri Achyutananda Das.  Since 2019, Rajeev has been associated with this Parampara and is on lifelong learning journey covering ‘Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra’, ‘Jaimini Upadesa Sutras’,  ‘Mantra Sastra’, 'Shiv Mahapurana' and much more..   

While trying to buy a Jyotish gemstone for himself in 2019, he realized that it was not less than a nightmare to obtain it from the market.  Price variations were beyond logical understanding and obtaining a natural, unheated and untreated Jyotish quality gemstone was next to impossible. On top of that, there were additional complexities of getting it energized, setting it in Jyotish appropriate ring, wearing it on an auspicious Muhurata, reciting necessary mantra while wearing it and so on and so forth. On his Guruji’s suggestion, he has spent more than 5 years to learn the intricacies of Jyotish Gemstones with the GIA (Gemological Institute of America).  Since 2021, Rajeev is GIA certified in Colored Stones.  To make it comprehensive for Jyotish, he studied Diamonds in detail and he is a certified Diamond Graduate since 2024.

To ensure that one gets only the natural and untreated Gemstones, he has set-up a Gemstones Testing Laboratory at his workplace.  Jyotish Gemstones are to be set in a specific metal (gold / silver / alloys) and the rings / pendants should be of a specific shape to get the desired results.  He gained practical experience on this aspect by visiting Jewellery Manufacturing set ups across different countries and by becoming a member of GJEPC (Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council).  Rajeev is a certified Gold Appraiser since 2024.

‼️He recommends only such Vedic remedies, as demanded by the individual horoscope and it need not be Gemstone but Mantra / Temple visit / Pooja / Homam / Rudraksha / Name change / Food therapy etc.  His aim is to guide people constructively (without inculcating any fear), in an unbiased way, such that they derive the best value for the money they spend on their Jyotish consultation and remedies.  

Rajeev practices as a professional Astrologer and a Gemologist.  He has set-up Hetvik Ratna Jyotish – a place where one can get Jyotish consultation, remedies to activate Rajayoga and also learn Jyotish. Hetvik Ratna Jyotish is an entity authorized by GJEPC (Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council), DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) and CBIC (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs) to deal in Gemstones.
